Upright vacuum cleaners are the traditional vacuum cleaners we all grew up with.  In recent times, canister vacuums have also become popular, but upright vacuum cleaners have a number of advantages over the canister vacuums.  Generally speakin upright vacuums have stronger suction and this is a major factor in choosing an upright over a canister model.  If you have mainly carpets throughout your home, an upright may be the best solution, though do check out some of the All Floor models by Dyson because they have fantastic suction, and are often suitable for most homes.

Dyson DC25 Blueprint is a limited

edition upright vacuum cleaner from Dyson.

This vacuum cleaner comes with a Flat Out head for cleaning under low furniture – you can see it in the screenshot on this page.

The Dyson DC25 Blueprint uses the popular Dyson ball technology which means this vacuum cleaner is easy to maneuver around your home.

The motorized brush bar uses an independent motor drive for the brush which gives better cleaning. The suction is provided by Dyson’s excellent Root Cyclone technology so there is no bag to empty or replace. The mini-cyclone that is created inside the machine, literally spins the dust out of the air and into the dust bin. To empty the dust bin, you just need to push a button on top of the cyclone pack.

There haven’t been many reviews of this vacuum on Amazon, but it is clear that reading those reviews that have been posted that people generally like this cleaner. The one negative review was done to a falty on/off switch that can happen with any machine. The other reviews were positive, with people liking:
